About the presenter

Specialist Orthodontist Dr Igor Lavrin is highly experienced. He regularly speaks at international events, teaching other dental professionals how to use Invisalign to create better smiles. As a Black Diamond Invisalign* provider he is ranked in the top 1% of the world.

Dr Igor G. Lavrin

BDS (Adelaide) MDSc (Harvard)

Dr Igor Lavrin grew up in both Melbourne and Hong Kong. He received his dental education at the University of Adelaide, before working as a general dentist in Melbourne and Warrandyte. Furthering his expertise, Dr Lavrin completed a three-year orthodontic specialist programme and master's degree at Harvard University in the United States. He has been the recipient of numerous awards for scholastic and clinical excellence and published articles in orthodontic and scientific literature. He has worked in private orthodontic practice in Massachusetts, USA, and lectured internationally in the United States, Canada and Asia. 

Dr Lavrin has taught orthodontics to dental students at Harvard University and in the orthodontic department at the University of Melbourne. He is proud to be part of a husband and wife team with Dr Sarah Lawrence at Lavrin & Lawrence Orthodontics.
